Internationally renowned Italian sculptor Lorenzo Quinn will be introducing jewellery to his creative offering this autumn.
Lorenzo Quinn mastered the art of sculpture at a young age. For Quinn, sculpture is primarily an art of communication, a medium through which he aims to help people evolve further in tolerance, understanding and harmony.
“I make art for myself and for people who wish to come along for a ride through my dreams,” says Quinn. “How we live our own lives is the utmost importance, and most of my work has to do with values and emotions.”
Now, Quinn has turned his hand at wearable meaningful art, with a debut jewellery range set to launch in November.
He comments: “We move to jewellery because of the idea that jewels have to tell a story. Jewels are more than mere decorative objects and should transmit a message.”
All Lorenzo Quinn’s jewels take inspiration from Quinn’s sculptures and the message involved. Pieces have been designed to tell as story and communicate a message.
The jewels have been crafted in precious metals and adorned with precious stones. Designs feature symbolic motifs including letters and human sculptures.
