Endless Jewelry founder Jesper Nielsen has hinted on Facebook what his next project may be following the decision to step down from the brand last week.
Nielsen took to social media to confirm the news that his journey with Endless has come to an end.
Reflecting on the brand he founded, Nielsen wrote: “I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished with Endless Jewelry, and first of all, I want to thank the team of dedicated and hardworking employees and managers, who have been a part of building the world’s fastest growing jewelry brand. Together we have made history, and you have all been amazing and an important part of this. Thank you!
“I have the utmost respect for our investors, and when I leave now, it is not out of anger or frustration, but merely a matter of realising that I am at my best, when at the end of the table, making the calls. This is where I create the most value for a company, and this is where I thrive! At the same time, it is only logical that my co-owners, who have invested heavily in the Endless brand want a say in the direction and strategy, and as such, over the past six-nine months I have gradually moved away from the day to day management.”
Nielsen went on to explain that moving on from the daily business gave him time to look at the industry and study in depth business models of the biggest brands.
He says he has been meeting a range of people whom share his “broader perspective”.
He went on to comment: “It probably comes no surprise to anyone who knows me, that I have been thinking of and starting to work with new projects and creations. I will make an announcement about my plans within the next couple of weeks, but for now I will say this: I can’t wait to present the news. I truly believe, we are here to change the world and to change the rules. That is my ambition.”
Nielsen ended by saying, “watch this space. Amazing things are waiting”. He later updated his cover photo to the picture below, which contains the words ‘Amazing Jewelry’ in a logo format, prompting Danish online news website, Finans.dk, to speculate that this will be Nielsen’s next project.
Nielsen responded to this by sharing the article and commenting: “Looking forward sharing this with the jewelry Industry… A revolution is coming our way to change all women’s view on jewelry for the future.”
