Sheffield-based designer appoints photographer and design assistant.

Sheffield-based jewellery designer and manufacturer Jessica Flinn is expanding her workforce with two new appointments to support her growing business.

Mary Overmeer will join the team at the Jessica Flinn Boutique, focusing on customer service while using her skills as a professional photographer to capture all of Flinn’s collections for the company’s website.

Additionally, Matt Dunham will be working alongside Flinn at her design studio in the historic Lion Works at Kelham Island as a technical and design assistant. Dunham will work on product specification sheets and will also help to maintain the company’s website.

Flinn explains: “Having started out completely on my own, I am delighted to now have a workforce of 11. It has always been my intention to give something back to the Sheffield economy and I am very pleased that the business is now able to sustain a thriving team, working both in the studio and at the boutique.”

“With more new collections being developed all the time and the number of outlets now stocking my work nationwide growing – as well as regular appearances on television’s Jewellery Channel and a contract with high street chain Argos – I am confident that there is potential for even greater expansion in the months ahead.”
