Ship will stop off for jewellery shows in five countries in 10 days.
A trade event with a difference is soon to be available for lovers of all things bling, with the news that the world’s first Gulf Jewellery Cruise will set sail next year, stopping off for jewellery exhibitions in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
The sparkling sailing trip is being run by Expotim International Fair Organisation Inc.
The company says that the Gulf Jewellery Cruise “will enable all its participants to visit the top five jewellery countries throughout the Middle East”.
Those on the trip will be able to meet with the sector professionals in each country during the 10-day period.
At present, dates and routes for the event start on November 5 2013 in Kuwait City, with the cruise terminating in Abu Dhabi on November 15, via Dammam in Saudi Arabia and Manama in Bahrain.
The cruise will bring together fine jewellery and fashion jewellery, as well as tools, equipment, packaging and display and shop fittings, all aboard the moving vessel.
A release from Expotim said: “The Gulf Jewellery Cruise Show offers buyers the chance to see thousands of new collections and individual pieces and source what they need from amongst the hundreds of suppliers in five different key countries in jewellery industry.
“Exhibitors of the show will be able to build a network of new and productive business contacts during the event in five different countries.”
The company says the advantages of the Gulf Jewellery Cruise will include its time efficiency, a chance for leisure activities alongside business, luxurious accommodation and its networking opportunities.
