Contemporary store is first for city, with designs already sold out.

Beirut born jewellery designer Joanna Dahdah has launched her own contemporary jewellery boutique in Downtown Beirut, the first for the city regarded as the ‘Playground of the Middle East’.

Dahdah, who was announced as one of Professional Jeweller’s Nexgems in 2010’s Hot 100, has already sold her jewellery across several well-known London boutiques including Leblas, EC One and Charles Fish in Canary Wharf.

Scouting talent from the UK, Dahdah has selected some of the best-known British jewellery designers to compliment her own collections at the new boutique. Designers including Shaun Leane, Monica Vinader and Tomasz Donocik are already on sale at the Beirut boutique.

The first week of the new store opening has seen Dahdah’s own Muse collection sell out, while "iconic pieces" from Shaun Leane’s Cherry Blossom collection and Monica Vinader’s bestselling Fiji friendship bracelets have also been snapped up.

The growing demand for European brands and the appeal of European trends has driven Dahdah to open the new store, opening new markets to some of the designers.

"I am very excited to have my collections in Beirut for the first time. Joanna’s innovative approach the unique vision of her concept store and the pieces she holds perfectly reflects the quintessence of our work", said Leane.
