Nuneaton retailer set to host black tie event in Autumn.

Johnsons Jewellers in Nuneaton celebrates its 115th anniversary this year and will host a special black tie and diamond gala dinner in November as a thank you to its longstanding customers, friends and family.

The retailer, which has been family-run for five generations, will host the charitable event at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on November 16.

A champagne reception, dinner and entertainment from former X Factor contestant Andy Abrahams will take place during the evening event, which will raise money for local charity Zoë’s Place, the only baby-specific hospice in Coventry.

Johnsons Jewellers is described as “a gem at the heart of the community in Nuneaton”. The retailer has a history that dates back to the 1860s when Henry Johnson began trading as a watchmaker in Lutterworth.

Last year the retailer renovated its store, adding improvements to its space with solid wood panelled corridor leads and a crystalline aqua coloured glass door.
