Fei Liu, Sarah Jordan and Dennis & Lavery celebrate win at IJL.
The Platinum Guild International (PGI) returned to IJL with its annual Platinum Trail competition, and this year the awards were won by Sarah Jordan, Dennis & Lavery and Fei Liu.
Jordan won the prize for platinum bridal tri-set, while Fei Liu was awarded for the most innovative platinum jewellery display at the exhibition and Dennis & Lavery won the prize for most commercial bridal tri-set.
This is the third consecutive year that Jordan has won a prize in the PGI’s platinum trail, but she said that the honour still brings delight.
“I really wasn’t expecting it at all,” she said. “Ruth [Donaldson of the PGI] glanced at me and then I thought to myself well maybe I have won, and then I heard them say the word fluid I realised that I had. I couldn’t be more pleased.”
This year was the fourth time that the PGI has run the Platinum Trail and competition at IJL and this year the Trail was the largest it has ever been with 21 participants exhibiting their platinum designs
The results of the competition were celebrated at a party at Worx in London’s Parsons Green during IJL.
