Welsh fashion designer Julien Macdonald will launch his debut jewellery range for QVC in November, with pieces reflecting the glamorous aesthetic of his London Fashion Week collections.

Famous for creating stage costumes for Kylie Minogue, Macdonald’s collection includes crystal-adorned necklaces, statement cocktail rings and bracelets, as well as pieces featuring a signature leopard head motif.

The whole collection is inspired by red carpet glamour, with pieces said to offer a “hint of glamour and sophistication to any daytime or evening look”.

Macdonald explained: “The QVC customer is sophisticated and tasteful so immediately the collaboration was a perfect match for my designs. I have created a collection for women who love all things fun and glamorous, but who also want to maintain that element of sophistication. I love sparkle and I think it’s important for all women to feel confident and shine regardless of everything else.”

Multi-channel retailer QVC will host an evening with the designer on November 23, which also coincides with the official launch of the collection.

Prices start from £32.52 for a pair of Red Carpet earrings and rise to £279 for a statement Pave Collection necklace.
