London-based jewellers make the grade on the FT and Time Out’s list
A panel of judges that included Mary Portas, Susie Lau, Henry Holland, and Katie Grand have put together Time Out’s top 50 London shops this week, naming Kabiri number 37 in the list. This accolade has arrived in the same month as The Financial Times naming them in the Top 5 of UK based fashion e-commerce sites.
It was Kabiri’s Marylebone High Street store that earnt the brand its name check in the popular magazine despite recently opening a flagship in Covent Garden Piazza. The article says of the jewellery retailers: “Collections change at dizzying speed, but there’s always plenty for small budgets as well as mid-range line.” The influx of positive press is further strengthened by the FT listing Kabiri next to the likes of retail giant Asos.com in its fashion e-commerce article.
Kabiri’s online store shows each designer’s collection and has their biography available to view so customers can spend their time discovering information about the individual designers as well as admiring the collections. A handy ‘ask personal shopper’ email facility, ensures that any customer can still have that one-on-one interaction with a member of staff if any help or advice is needed when making a purchase. The Kabiri blog delves even further into the individual collections and has regular features including interviews with jewellery designers, previews of new collections and In The Studio posts. The blog also allows a conversation to begin with customers away from email, and between themselves about the collections.
