Kleshna teams with Ideal World for 2013 poppies

Kleshna's 2013 poppies are inspired by Art Deco design.

TV channel to sell Art Deco inspired designs for Royal British Legion.

Jewellery brand Kleshna has launched its 2013 collection of poppy jewellery supporting the Royal British Legion, having teamed with shopping channel Ideal World TV.

The collection will launch live on Ideal World today, marking the fourth year that the brand has created a charitable poppy collection. Kleshna founder Kleshna Handel is set to make an appearance on the channel today, presenting her favourite pieces from the collection.

The 2013 poppy collection is described as a "celebration of art deco styling", nodding to the popularity of the The Great Gatsby film and hit TV series Mad Men.

The collection features petals designed with angular lines, crystals and enamel work. The brand will donate 15% from each sale to The Royal British Legion Trading Limited which gives its taxable profits to The Royal British Legion.

This year’s collection also features new designs with a bracelet, ring and necklace with RRPs from £12.99.

Handel said of the collection: “It gives me a huge sense of pride to work with The Royal British Legion to help raise funds that provide vital services for the Armed Forces community. The more people I have come into contact with through my work with the Legion the more I realise their need for increased funding. In this poignant time for Britain it is more important than ever to wear our poppies with pride in support of our British Armed Forces, and to stand strong in support of all those heroes past and present.”

The collection will be sold through Ideal World TV and The Home of Shopping TV. Kleshna’s poppies have previously been worn by Emma Watson, Helen Mirren, Dame Judy Dench, Cheryl Cole, Gary Barlow and Emma Bunton.
