The Promise Of Created Elegance, the lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, continues its industry debut at this year’s Baselworld, showcasing a range of Fairtrade designs.
The brand was launched last month by Judith Lockwood and Gary Wroe, the directors behind Fairtrade gold and Canadian diamond company, Arctic Circle Diamonds.
Partnering with British jeweller Sarah Jordan to design the collection, they source the lab-grown diamonds from Antwerp-based company Madestones.
The collection includes hues of pink, yellow, cognac and blue set in 18ct Fairtrade yellow, rose and white gold jewellery designs, including stack rings and bangles, drop earrings and pendants.
Speaking of the brand’s debut, founder Judith Lockwood said: “Having launched in February, we have taken the The Promise of Created Elegance to three European trade shows, where it has won an enthusiastic reception. Baselworld is our fourth show in two months and by far the largest and most prestigious, so we are thrilled to showcase this daring and contemporary collection of laboratory-grown diamond and Fairtrade gold jewellery to forward-thinking buyers from across the world.”
Providing the lab-grown coloured diamonds for The Promise of Created Elegance, Madestones chief executive officer and founder Thierry Silber said: “For us, The Promise Of Created Elegance has been very exciting, as it’s the first time Madestones have been directly involved in the launch of a new fine jewellery brand.
“We have worked closely with Judith Lockwood and Gary Wroe to choose the best of our stones for the collection, creating an innovative and original range of fine jewellery perfectly suited to international retailers. We are seeing bold colour everywhere in fashion, design and architecture, so the range will bring new opportunities to retailers, and new customers to their stores.”
