Brand awarded title at 2013 spring buyers’ meeting.

Silver and diamond jewellery brand Lily & Lotty has scooped the award for Best Jewellery Collection at the Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) trade buying event.

The brand, created by husband-and-wife team Graham and Carole Stock, has been on the rise since its launch in 2011, recently showing at The Jewellery Show at Spring Fair, as well as IJL last September.

Graham Stock was on hand to collect the award, which was presented by the CMJ’s chairman Stephen Hughes at the CMJ’s tea-party themed dinner on Sunday March 17.

Carole Stock, creative director at Lily & Lotty, said: “All of our designs have real people in mind – it is fantastic to be recognised for creating a collection of truly wearable pieces that have strong commercial appeal.

"Most design awards are given for high-fashion, high-end, one-off pieces rather than collections that the customer will buy and wear time and time again.”

The Stocks said that Lily & Lotty’s packaging has helped boost the appeal of the brand, with its vintage-inspired black and white imagery, featuring the couple’s two daughters.

“Retailers always comment on the packaging saying it is a great draw for customers in their stores," added Carole Stock.

The Lily & Lottly collection features heart, star and flower motifs, as well as a new range of engraved jewellery featuring loving and inspirational phrases.

Graham Stock was named a Business Big Shot in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2012.
