Bourse de-clutters site to better communicate with jewellery industry.
The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) has unveiled a brand new website, with a cleaner layout, more information for members and the industry and plans for a fresh online diamond trading platform.
The new site come during ongoing development at the Bourse, which recently promoted Victoria McKay to the role of chief operating officer, the first COO in the Bourse’s history.
The site boasts an uncluttered homepage with content that focuses on the providing the UK diamond industry with accurate information while boosting its member relations.
The site is designed to be compatible with all types of browser resolutions and has a touch-friendly mobile navigation menu. According to the LDB, the new site will boost its marketing and will be used to lead the way in how it communicates with its members digitally, with regular updates due to be released through both the site and via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn share functions.
A statement from the LDB said: "By moving to a more client-centric layout, we allow visitors to access information based on their own choice rather than sift through everything to decide what is of interest to them.
"Our current and prospective members will find detailed information throughout the site. Shortly we’ll have a Members’ Area including our own trading platform".
