The event was also a launch pad for two special collections: a range of jewellery presented by Atelier Swarovski and the much-anticipated Platinum Heritage collection put together by east London retailer PureJewels.

Atelier Swarovski collaborated with a number of designers including Shaun Leane and Sarah Ho to recreate pieces of their work using Swarovski Crystallized stones in place of precious stones.

PureJewels used the event to unveil some of the first designs it its 2011 Platinum Heritage Collection. The London retailer has collaborated with a number of designers on the project, which was first conceptualised last year, and showed platinum designs on the night from Ana De Costa, Sarah Ho, Cara Tonkin and Milena Kovanovic. The collection will have its own official launch on Friday with work from remaining designers Anthony Rousell and Nina Koutibashvili to be unveiled then.
