As part of the Mantra Changes Lives collection, the fashion jewellery brand launched a necklace in aid of MIND, the mental health charity.

The new necklace is a silver disc carrying the powerful word, ‘Strength’, alongside the iconic lotus symbol, which represents regeneration and rising through difficulty. The mantra on the accompanying card is, ‘I am strong enough to stand alone, but wise enough to ask for help’.

The necklace had its official launch on World Mental Health Day, on Tuesday October 10, and was immediately picked up by the consumer press, including Cosmopolitan magazine, which featured it on their Editor’s page.

The silver version was so popular that it has temporarily SOLD OUT, although it is still available in rose and yellow gold-plated silver. Mantra owner, Jo Stroud, says the sterling silver version will be back in stock within a couple of weeks, and the team are gearing up for it to be a bestseller over Christmas.

This is the third piece in Mantra’s ‘Mantra Changes Lives’ collection, joining the ‘Believe’ necklace for Smart Works, and the new ‘Be Kind’ necklace for Bullying UK.

“At Mantra, we are committed to helping to make a positive change in the world, bringing more joy, inspiration, kindness and empowerment to people who need it the most,” shares Stroud. “We work with charities and not-for-profit organisations to create jewellery which raises funds, shows support, and builds awareness for important causes.”

The collaboration with MIND is a really important one for Mantra. Stroud explains: “Many people will experience mental illness in their lives, or times when they don’t feel mentally strong or emotionally resilient. We want to remind people that they are stronger than they realise, but also to encourage them to talk about their feelings, and seek help. When people share their struggles and support each other, life gets much easier and difficulties more manageable.”

The piece retails from £35 (in silver), with 25% of the selling price donated to MIND.
