Founder Max Busser to bring together products from across the world.
Groundbreaking watchmaker and founder of MB&F, Max Busser, has revealed that he plans to open an MB&F gallery in Geneva later this year.
Speaking with Professional Jeweller, Busser said that the company is working to open its first MB&F gallery in Geneva, which will house its watches – described by Busser as Horological Machines – alongside selected works by artists, creators, designers and craftsmen that the company admires.
Busser said: "We are hoping to be able to open in October – initially presenting a Chinese artist, an incredible German lamp creator and an English kinetic art group. It’s all very amazing!"
As part of this year’s Only Watch auction, MB&F has also worked with Chinese artist Huang Hankang to make its HM4 Flying Panda, a watch which takes MB&F’s HM4 double barrelled looks and teams it with a solid gold panda, based on an artwork by Hankang that Busser himself purchased from a gallery.
