Diamond Brokerage program offers more than 20,000 stones at wholesale.

Hatton Garden jewellery company Mireya has announced the launch of its Diamond Brokerage program, enabling independent retailers to buy stones at wholesale prices to help them compete with online diamond sellers.

The Diamond Brokerage program will be hosted on the Mireya website with more than 20,000 loose diamonds available for retailers to browse through, with tools to help them select certain cuts, carat weights, clarities and certificated stones.

Mireya has been a loose diamond manufacturer for more than three generations and is a partner to a DTC Sightholder. It says the Diamond Brokerage tool "strongly focuses on supporting independent retailers to compete against the online [diamond] retailers".

The program will allow retailers to purchase loose diamonds at wholesale prices through Mireya, with full certificates available to download online with high-resolution images showing inclusion patterns. Mireya also promises seven-day delivery for stones and 2% discount for retailers’ first orders placed through the site.

The Diamond Brokerage program will be launched at the CMJ autumn buyers’ meeting this weekend at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham alongside Mireya’s new fine diamond collection, Dazzling Diamonds.
