Miranda Macfalane snapped up after managerial role at Anya Hindmarch.
Girls’ jewellery brand Molly Brown London has announced the arrival of a new head of e-commerce, Miranda Macfarlane.
Describing Macfarlane’s arrival as “exciting”, the brand welcomes her from a previous role as online manager at luxury brand Anya Hindmarch. Macfarlane was instrumental in driving online sales at Anya Hindmarch and the overall development of the online business.
The brand has said the timing of her arrival could not be more perfect as Molly Brown has new collections launching imminently.
Molly Brown founder and MD, Erica Illingworth, is said to be thrilled with the new hire for the company where online sales are currently taking an unprecedented increase. She said: “We are extremely excited that Miranda is joining us from Anya Hindmarch which is such a successful British label. Miranda’s industry expertise is second-to-none and we are finding that we have more and more loyal online customers. Customers making online purchases are increasingly spending on the top end of the price spectrum rather than merely using the website as a portal to browse the collections”. Macfarlane will join as head of e-Commerce, responsible for all marketing and driving online sales.
