Children’s jewellery brand Molly Brown London has secured H Samuel as a new stockist, entering seven UK stores including the two Westfield mall locations in London and Brent Cross.
Signet Group‘s assistant buyer Melanie Smith said: “We are very excited to be launching this fashion forward children’s brand. It is already receiving a very positive response in store and we have high hopes for the future.”
The move into H Samuel follows a busy year for the brand in which it has welcomed a new head of sales and visual merchandising, Bridget Moore, a previous consultant for Molly Brown, and won success at Beaverbrooks and through Houlden Group.
Molly Brown London managing director Erica Illingworth said: “Bridget brings that highly sought after mix of expertise in sales and marketing as well as visual merchandising. She put a UK sales and VM strategy in place which has been incredibly well received by our stockists and we are continuing to roll out new, luxury Molly Brown POS in the UK.”
Molly Brown has increased its presence with multiple retailer Beaverbrooks with sales performance 12% compared to 2012, something Illingworth says has been driven by fresh POS, excellent account management and marketing strategy.
The brand also became a Houlden Group supplier this year and, following its appearance at the group’s June meet, has potentially secured 30% of the its retail members as new stockists. The brand’s fine jewellery line for women, Molly B Couture, was also well received.
