Fine women’s jewellery adds new facet to children’s brand.
Children’s jewellery brand Molly Brown London has launched its first women’s jewellery collection called Molly B Couture, while simultaneously unveiling an updated dual e-commerce platform for both brands.
The new women’s brand is described as a “classic jewellery collection of unparalleled simplicity and loveliness” and will be officially launched in June 2012 as part of London Jewellery Week’s schedule of events.
The collection was created following feedback about the children’s brand to its founder and creative director Erica Illingworth, who realised that the mothers buying jewellery for their children were often on the lookout for a similar little something for themselves.
Last year Molly Brown added some ‘grown-up’ lines to its collections, including its Collection 12 range of birthstone bracelets that featured extension chains meaning they could be worn by teens and adults.
Prices for the collections start from £65 for a pair of enamelled heart shape earrings, and peak at £1,395 for a diamond-set pendant.
Illingworth said: “I am absolutely delighted with the new site, it has a much more luxe feel and customers can now easily shop both the Molly Brown London Collections as well as the new, very gorgeous Molly B Couture Collections.”
