Site busy with marketing initiatives while adding new designers.
Online jewellery retail site My Flash Trash has been working hard on its marketing initiatives, while adding two new designers to its portfolio, Eastern Mystic and ethical jewellery label Caipora.
The site, which was launched earlier this year by former model Amber Atherton has also had a re-vamp, with a view to merging the fashion scene with jewellery trends.
Atherton’s online ‘blog-a-zine’ has been her continued tool to help promote the designers she stocks, while her Flash Trash TV & Style Hunter pages show how to wear the jewellery.
"We launched our second Facebook Group deal this weekend and are surging ahead on other dynamic gaming ideas that engage the online customer," says Atherton, the 20-year-old founder of the company.
"We aim to make My Flash Trash the go-to online jewellery retailer, [with] our own-brand social media channels and blogs helping us attract a worldwide customer base," she added.
Atherton recently launched the Monsoon Palace collection, centering around ear cuffs, at London Jewellery Week in collaboration with fine jewellery designer Alexander Davis.
The new additions to My Flash Trash, Eastern Mystic and Caipora, join the likes of Tina Lilienthal, Allumer and Pebble London. Sonal Talgeri-Bhaskaran, designer of Eastern Mystic, was named one of Professional Jeweller‘s Hot 100 NexGems in 2010.
