Meeting and day of events to take place at London’s Goldsmith’s Hall.
The National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG) has announced the date for its Annual General Meeting, which will be held at the Goldsmiths’ Hall, London on Wednesday June 29.
Guests are invited for a pre-meeting coffee at 10am, followed by the meeting with a talk from crown jeweller David Thomas, MVO. During the afternoon there will be a pre-lunch drinks reception after which guests will be seated for a three course luncheon in the beautiful surroundings of Goldsmiths’ Hall.
The date has been chosen to coincide with the Goldsmiths’ Hall’s summer exhibition, Mindful of Silver, which focuses on work from a selection of top silversmiths and their processes of development through to the end product. It will include designers Vladimir Böhm, David Clarke, Rebecca de Quin, Sarah Denny, Alistair McCallum and newly appointed Goldsmiths’ Company Prime Warden Hector Miller.
Guests of the AGM will have the opportunity to browse the exhibition at any point throughout the day. There will also be post-lunch tours of the London Assay Office on a first come, first served basis.
The meeting has been described by the NAG as "a great way for members to meet, join in discussions, and find out exactly what the NAG has been doing for our members over the last year."
