Family-run business creates bronze, steel and brass pendants.
A new jewellery brand called Wavelines is hoping to make its mark in the UK industry with a collection of sea-inspired bronze, steel and brass pendants.
The collection is the brainchild of Chichester-based father and daughter team John and Lucy Cunningham, who hand-make the pendants before they are hung from a choice of three different lengths of Nappa leather cord. The designs are named after women’s names to give more personality to each piece.
The brand launched in July and is already selling director to consumers, but hopes to win wider retail stockists.
Lucy Cunningham said: "Our passion is to create something special and unique for the luxury jewellery market. The concept for our wave designs encapsulates the connection with the sea and our home along the south coast."
John Cunningham, a former super yacht designer, makes each of the pendants and says that British manufacturing is an important part of the brand’s ethos.
