Norther Irish jeweller beats 2,000 UK e-tailers to accolade.
Northern Irish retail jeweller Nigel O’Hara Diamond Jewellers has been awarded a European prize for customer service.
The store was picked out by shopping search engine Shopzilla in its annual Circle of Excellence Awards that recognises best practice in online retailers. The business awards take into account overall satisfaction, the selection of products, on-time delivery and customer support.
This year more than 2,000 online retailers from the UK entered the awards. As one of the winners Nigel O’Hara Diamond Jewellers will be able to display a Circle of Excellence logo on its site for the next year.
Nigel O’Hara Diamond Jeweller director Richard O’Hara said: "This is a massive achievement for the business and we are all absolutely ecstatic. Not only do we strive to have the lowest prices, but we try to make sure all our purchases are sent as quickly as possible. It is great to know our customers are happy."
Shopzilla Europe marketing manager Michelle Anderson believes the award will give the retailer recognition on a much wider scale.
She said: "Shopzilla reaches around 14 million shoppers across Europe per month and by asking real customers for their feedback on their shopping experience we can offer retailers genuine competitive insight which is not available on this scale elsewhere."
