Nikki Lissoni makes move into Australian market

Coin brand snapped up by distributor who discovered it at Inhorgenta.

Coin jewellery brand Nikki Lissoni is set to enter the Australian market after winning a distribution deal with Duraflex Group Australia (DGA).

The coin brand will officially launch in Australia in September at the International Jewellery Fair in Sydney. DGA is said to have discovered the brand earlier this year while attending the Inhorgenta Munich trade show and the Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair.

The brand is distributed in the UK under DMJ and was showcased at this year’s Jewellery Show at Spring Fair. Its UK ambassador Lauren Pope of TV show The Only Way is Essex attended the fair for a meet and greet session.

DGA managing director Philip Edwards said that Australian and New Zealand consumers are inspired by European trends and as a result the trend for coin brands has had a strong influence on the local market.

DGA also distributed Thomas Sabo, Spinning Jewelry, Argenta and Sekonda in Australasia.
