Duo become the first silver jewellery brand to receive the award

Brother and sister duo Out of Peru have become the first silver jewellery brand to be awarded the Ethical Award from The Ethical Company Organisation.

The prestigious award authenticates Out of Peru’s overall Corporate Social Responsibility to consumers, employees, trade partners and the environment.

Simon Ogilvie-Harris Co-founder and managing director of Out of Peru said “We are delighted to be the first sterling silver jewellery brand to receive the Ethical Award. This will raise our profile significantly in the market place and solidify our position as the UK premium’s ethical sterling silver brand.”

The ECO was established nearly a decade ago to promote a universally responsible corporate attitude towards people, animal welfare and the environment. Out of Peru’s award will see them listed prominently in The Good Shopping Guide, the world’s leading ethical shopping reference book, enabling consumers and trade buyers to purchase the best from the most socially responsible companies and brands.
