Cult New York designer in earthy collaboration with high street giant.
Quirky New York jewellery designer Pamela Love has launched a collaborative collection with Tosphop, which will hit the stores in May.
Based on South and Native American jewellery, the designs have Love’s recognisable toughness, from studs and sharp shapes, but use feathers to add softness and a more summery, fashion-led feel.
Said to be inspired by images of 1970s gypsy rockers, the jewellery has a youthful, earthy feel. Speaking of the collaboration, Love said: "I think Topshop is one of the most creative, fashion forward companies. I especially love the way they support young designers and help foster their careers. It’s one of my favourite stores."
The Topshop collection will feature some of Love’s recognisable designs including dreamcatcher style necklaces and earrings, and Aztec inspired rings and bangles.
Topshop opened its first and flagship New York store in April 2009, while Love saw her collections arrive from across the pond several years ago. She currently has UK stockists in the likes of Liberty, Brown, Harvey Nichols and clothing retailerJoseph.
The Pamela Love for Topshop collection will arrive in stores on May 19th 2011.
