Pandora plans to build on exceptional Christmas

Pandora MD looks forward to launching 2010 lines at Spring Fair.

Pandora managing director has described Christmas trading for the company as “exceptional” in an interview prior to the company’s appearance at Spring Fair’s The Jewellery Show.

Peter Andersen said he was stunned by the response to the opening of Pandora Concept Stores, which witnessed people queuing to be first into the shops.

Bracelets, beads, and clips were among the best sellers over the festive season, Anderson said in an interview with The Jewellery Show’s Jewellery Insight.

Pandora is creating a Catwalk Cafe in the centre of The Jewellery Show, which will feature three catwalk shows every day of the exhibition.

Among the items expected to be on show at the catwalk will be a new line of Pandora sunglasses, which Anderson revealed will be launched this year.

The new lines will be on sale at a growing number of Concept Stores in the UK, which will be supported with national advertising campaigns in consumer glossies, outdoor billboards and, for the first time, national television advertising.
