Laura Hurst and Sarah Poots join platinum marketing organisation.
Platinum Guild International (PGI) has expanded its UK marketing team with the appointment of a marketing and communications manager and a marketing assistant.
Taking on the newly created role of marketing and communications manager is Laura Hurst who joins the PGI from the Royal Mint where she had most recently been working on the delivery of a London 2012 commemorative coin programme.
Assisting Hurst will be Sarah Poots who has taken over the marketing assistant role. Poots, who has a background in fine arts, will act as appoint of contact for PGI Recommended Retailers and will work on the delivery of new marketing materials for those retailers.
PGI UK manager Ruth Donaldson said: The addition of Laura and Sarah enables our UK team to provide more strategic support to the UK industry, and drive our programmes further to result in increased platinum sales for them.”
