My comments about making jewelry from my own coat of arms are posted on an earlier article, but I post here, because the photo and image of the earrings are so clear. I look forward to hearing from one or two of the world's jewelers about making earrings from my own coat of arms, granted by the Queen in 2005. The Duchess' coat of arms is lozenge-shaped, and mine is oval. The emblems on the Duchess' coat of arms and earrings are an acorn on oak leaves. My coat of arms has the emblem of the flower of the Tree of Life, a five-pointed flower, based on the cinquefoil flower of my noble ancestors. I would like earrings designed with the Tree of Life flower suspended in the center of the oval. The stem of the earring is another emblem on my coat of arms. It is the lion, rampant, standing on its hind legs, the lion of the royal families of Scotland and England. As an author in New York, I wrote an article, describing my coat of arms for the first time, comparing it Kate Middleton's. There is an image of my coat of arms in the article on my NearSay blog; this first article discussing my coat of arms is entitled, "Kate Middleton Owns a Coat of Arms, NY Author Reveals Hers." It will be very exciting to work with a creative and talented jeweler to create jewelry, based on my coat of arms, because so few Americans have an official coat of arms, granted by the Queen. Thanks.
