The voting process to determine the winners of the 2017 Professional Jeweller Awards will officially open this week.

In what will be an industry first, professionals working in the UK jewellery sector will be given the opportunity to have their say on the outcome of the awards via a dedicated online vote.

Professional Jeweller unveiled the shortlisted finalists for each of the 16 categories earlier this month and those working within the jewellery sector will now have the chance to influence who walks away with the silverware on Monday 4 September at Kensington Roof Gardens.

The online voting process is simple: suppliers and brands will be eligible to vote on the retailer categories, while retailers will vote on the supplier and brand categories.

Stacey Hailes, editor of Professional Jeweller, said: “The online voting process gives the industry a unique opportunity to determine which of our finalists is crowned a category winner and honoured for their achievements in the UK jewellery sector this year. Rather than put the decision in the hands of a handful of judges, we think it’s only right that the industry gets to choose who they think deserves to be honoured. Given the calibre of the finalists, the results are likely to be very tight so make your vote count!”

An announcement officially declaring the online vote open will be made on www.professionaljeweller.com and on social media this week.

To join the finalists, cheer on industry achievements and network under the stars with a unlimited wine and a three-course barbecue, tickets can be purchased HERE.
