Sussex-based W.E. Clark & Son scooped the Independent Fine Jewellery Retailer of the Year Award, beating off strong competition from some of the top jewellers based around the UK.
Retailers in this category, which was sponsored by Italian luxury brand Chimento, had to be a destination jewellery boutique businesses with fewer than five stores, that excels in sales of fine jewellery priced at over £1,000.
This was no easy category to win as first place changed hands many times during the course of the Professional Jeweller Awards voting process. In the end, W.E Clark & Son was announced as the winner of the accolade.
The last 12 months has seen the business enjoy an increase in diamond and gold jewellery sales, with the retailer seeing growth with Marco Bicego, Hans D Krieger and Fope to name a few.
When W.E Clark & Son made the decision to withdraw from Pandora and return to its roots as a fine jewellery retailer, the transition took some time but now the business is selling high-end pieces on a regular basis and many other jewellers are now following suit.
Today, the family jeweller is known for its luxury brands, customer service, and top notch workshop complete with a full-time craftsmen.
