Point of sale specialist Wrights GPX has claimed it is helping retailers “get back to Black Friday” through online support and discounts.

West Bromwich-based Wrights Plastics GPX manufactures around 2,000 PoS, PoP and retail display products at its two Midlands manufacturing units.

The firm said its online support aims to help independent retailers use PoS as part of an overall marketing campaign to maximise sales and profits on the day.

Wrights Plastics GPX believes smaller retailers including specialist jewellers can benefit from the event.

Managing director Mike Wright commented: “Customers will be looking out for great offers on Black Friday from all retailers and there is no reason why independent retailers cannot benefit.

“But they’ll need to effectively plan and promote their event to get noticed on the day, achieve an uplift in sales and attract new customers at the start of the Christmas season.

“We’ve got lots of ideas online to help and we’ve introduced a tiered discount offer that means retailers save more when they buy more.”
