Pressleys will be one of the biggest retailers on Worthing’s main shopping street when its own multi-brand emporium opens this summer next door to a new franchised Pandora store.
The Pressleys store will be home to household names including Swarovski, Links of London. It will also be one of the launch stores for prestigious diamond jewellery brand Chalfen of London and Forevermark.
Montague Street is the main shopping drag of Worthing, and home to several independent and multiple jewellers including Ernest Jones, H Samuel, Jewelwork and Gold Arts Jewellers. but the combination of Pressleys and its Pandora store will dwarf them all.
Pressleys managing director Jonathan Pressley, said the company, which has been present in Worthing for over 100 years, was delighted to be expanding its business empire in the town. “We are incredibly proud of the great turnout at our [Pandora store] launch event on Saturday. It is testament to the never ending support the business receives from the town of Worthing.”
The Pandora opening attracted hoards of shoppers who were treated to pink lemonade and Pandora-themed cupcakes.
Customers spending £75 or over were given the opportunity to select a draw from the famous Pandora tower to win a Pandora gift and others were also asked to share their unforgettable moments for their chance to win a bracelet bundle.
