Professional Jeweller is excited to announce the return of its hugely successful Shop Floor Star campaign; recognising and celebrating customer service professionals for their skills, dedication and commitment to the UK jewellery industry.
Last year’s initiative welcomed close to a hundred nominations from store owners, managers and retail staff determined to get their unsung heroes who work hard on the shop floor every week the recognition they deserve.
The Professional Jeweller team whittled this down to 21 finalists, six special award winners and one overall winner, each of whom boasted glowing consumer testimonials, inspiring ideas and excellent industry knowledge.
Now we are calling once again on retailers all around the UK to nominate their Shop Floor Stars.
Just like last year, one individual will be crowned with the title of ‘Shop Floor Star’ 2016, and a further more will be praised for their incredible effects on the front line.
All the finalists will then appear in a dedicated feature in the October issue of Professional Jeweller magazine, with plans also in the pipeline to recreate the successful prize-giving ceremony that gathered owners, managers and sales staff for applauding and networking.
Professional Jeweller deputy editor Stacey Hailes says: “I believe it is really important to recognise the staff who work hard every day to keep this jewellery industry alive. Without their smiles, charms, knowledge and outstanding customer service, jewellery wouldn’t be sold around the UK every day. The Shop Floor Stars campaign is a great way to shine a light on the managers, supervisors, sales staff and customer service champions we often hear retailers praising.”

To nominate an individual you will need to send an email to email@example.com and include your name and job title, the name and job title of the person you are nominating, the retail store they work for and the town or city where the store resides.
To support your nomination please describe in 300 words or less what makes the nominee an excellent customer service professional. This can include examples of where they’ve gone the extra mile, the standards they work to, training and more.
Entries must be in by midnight on July 10.
