Naida Redgrave has been appointed as editor of Professional Jeweller and Professionaljeweller.com.
She joins Andrew Martyniuk, who has been head of sales and marketing for the title for over five years, and Stacey Hailes, who joined as assistant editor last year. They work alongside the peerless team of sister publication WatchPro and WatchPro.com, the only business titles dedicated entirely to the UK watch industry.
The Professional Jeweller team has almost a decade of jewellery and publishing business experience between them. Stacey Hailes worked for award-winning jeweller Swag, before joining the team; Naida Redgrave worked on several business-to-business titles, including a specialist jewellery title, and Andrew Martyniuk is in his sixth year with Professional Jeweller, having previously excelled in the newspaper world.
Professional Jeweller transformed the jewellery magazine scene when it launched in 2010 with its unrivalled offer to industry executives of a free monthly magazine, free-to-access website, free-to-subscribe daily e-mail news alert and the exclusive Professional Jeweller Hot 100 party in September.
“Professional Jeweller and WatchPro combine to give unrivalled news, analysis, insight and inspiration to industry executives each day via our digital news alerts, monthly in our market-leading magazines, and at key times of year at our fresh and innovative parties and events,” says Rob Corder, managing director for Promedia Publishing, which owns the titles.
“The media scene has been transformed in recent years by the demand for free, top quality editorial content, and we have embraced and led from the front ever since we launched Professional Jeweller and WatchPro six years ago,” he adds.
Naida Redgrave brings a wealth of experience from almost ten years working on print and digital titles in culture and fashion, and business areas including hospitality and retail.
“I am delighted to be joining the Professional Jeweller team, and look forward to meeting the many faces who make the jewellery trade such a unique and exciting industry to be a part of. I hope to take the Professional Jeweller brand from strength-to-strength, and am excited at the prospect of heading up a publication that is already so important to the industry.”
