Magazine becomes official partner of London graduate design show.
Professional Jeweller is delighted to announce that it has teamed up with graduate design show New Designers as one of the event’s official media partners.
Over the coming weeks Professional Jeweller will be delivering dedicated editorial coverage of the event, of which it is the only jewellery magazine partner.
Professional Jeweller editor-in-chief Rachael Taylor said: “Professional Jeweller has been very clear about championing emerging talent in the jewellery sector right from its inception, so this is a partnership that fits perfectly with the magazine. I have been to New Designers as both a journalist and a consumer for a number of years and I always enjoy the vitality and creativity that the students put into their work and the new heights to which a fresh injection of imagination can take jewellery design.”
New Designers Part One will run from June 29 to July 2 at The Business Design Centre in London’s Angel. The show is a mix of current graduates from a wide variety of colleges and universities, plus designers who are returning to the show one year on from graduating. The One Year On section of the show includes designers such as Ros Millar, Elizaveta Gnatchenko and Elizabeth Humble.
New Designers director Isobel Dennis said: "We are delighted to have Professional Jeweller as a partner of New Designers. The Jewellery and Precious Metalwork design zone is a very important part of the show and to have the support of this publication will only help to promote the excellent new creative talent that is about to enter the market.”

The partnership with New Designers is the latest in a string of affiliation coups for Professional Jeweller. The magazine is also the official trade media partner of London Jewellery Week, the official publisher of September trade show International Jewellery London at which it will publish a daily newspaper and has teamed with jewellery trends analysis service Adorn Insight on exclusive monthly trend reports.
“Our strong portfolio of exclusive partnerships with leading events and companies continues to grow and is a vote of confidence from the industry in our strength as the most powerful magazine in the sector, of which I’m very proud,” Taylor added. “As demand has increased for such partnerships we have unfortunately had to turn some opportunities down to allow us to continue to offer a strong service but when New Designers approached me about this partnership it was one I couldn’t resist.”
Professional Jeweller launched into the market in March 2010 and since then has built up a strong following with a circulation of more than 6,000 for the monthly print magazine and an online readership of more than 50,000 visitors a month.
