Retailer to work again with Platinum Heritage Collection designers

PureJewels have announced they will continue work with their 2010 Platinum Heritage Collection designers on a new ‘diffusion’ collection.

The designers who created jewellery for the first Platinum Heritage Collection last year will design new pieces for a separate collection, designed to complement both last year’s work and the new designers joining the project in 2011.

The designers will create collections using platinum, gold, diamonds and coloured gemstones for launch at London Jewellery Week in June 2011. Jayant Raniga, brand manager at PureJewels, said: “We have decided to increase our relationship with the designers who created the Platinum Heritage Collection 2010 and introduce collections around the themes that they generated last year,”

The six designers set to continue working with PureJewels are Kate Thorley, Zoe Youngman, Katie Rowland, Paul Draper, Cindy Dennis Mangan and Anna Loucah. Each designer will design and make new diffusion collections of at least six pieces, including items for everyday wear such as studs, pendants and rings. Collections will also include more elaborate pieces to be worn for occasions.

Price points for jewels in the new collections will start from around £300.
