For someone who is seeking career advancement and has account management or sales experience serving top jewellery retailers, Pursuit offers an exciting opportunity.
To reinforce its client service team, Pursuit is looking to appoint an account manager to work with its expanding community of top-name jewellery retailers throughout Britain and Ireland.
The successful candidate is likely to have a background serving national accounts on the brand, the manufacturer or the wholesaler side of the jewellery business.
The market leader in EPoS, online sales, stock control, stock performance monitoring and associated software systems, Pursuit is well known for its till-on-an-iPad innovation and seamlessly integrated, all-encompassing multiple- and single-shop software suites that function in real-time.
Although the vacancy is not conditional on possessing expert IT skills, day-to-day working familiarity and proficiency with normal office computers and tablets goes without saying.
But if you’re on the precious metals and stones side of business, why change to working with a software house?
Mike Burns, Pursuit managing director, answers the question: “All businesses are ultimately about sales. Jewellery is no exception, and more and more managements are recognising the power of technology to increase sales performance. Our systems and options achieve this in many ways and is the nerve centre of a client’s’ businesses.
“As a sales aid, our iPad-based mobile till product is being used to enhance the quality of staff-customer interaction and the customer experience. Another example is our front-runner position in the data revolution. Our breakthrough database analysis tool ensures well-informed buying decisions and reducing slow-moving stock.
“Our software development team work constantly to create enhancements to meet new and emerging needs – and our clients enjoy automatic updates. Much of this is stimulated by user feedback – which is obviously central to the account manager role.
“We are looking for someone who is personable, self-motivating and has a natural flair for creating and maintaining business relationships. They need to be a good listener – and have the understanding and communicating abilities to be able to help customers make optimal use of their system installations. Above all, they need to be passionate and well informed about the jewellery business.”
