Company to bring its Scalextric competition back to Hot 100 party.

Pursuit has returned to support the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 for a second consecutive year.

The retail software company will once again hold the role of Technology Partner, and will bring its popular Scalextric competition back to the Hot 100 party, offering race entrants the chance to win an iPad Mini.

Pursuit managing director Mike Burns said: "In the space of a few short years the Hot 100 has established itself as the barometer of the industry: new trends and who is setting them, the people, brands and organisations driving change – and whose creative energies deliver a wake-up call to those who are not as competitive as they could be.

“For the Hot 100 to have Pursuit as a partner is significant recognition of the place technology now occupies in the industry. As recently as five years ago, where running and operating a jewellery retail business was concerned, traditional ways were set in stone. Since then, receptiveness to technology has become more open-minded. Independents and multiples alike are recognising the power of technology to increase sales and profits."

The company’s Scalextric competition will be held at the Hot 100 party at One Marylebone on September 3. Guests can enter in groups to race against one another, with a iPad Mini given to the racer with the fastest lap time.
