For this month’s cityscapes Professional Jeweller visited Chester, also known as one of the most romantic cities in the UK, to talk to jewellery retailers about the trials and challenges of the city, as well as the positive effect of its bridal connotations (p.34). We also went on a trip nearer to home to see the refurbished Harvey Nichols designer jewellery room and meet with the store’s hear of concessions buying, Jo Osborne, to hear all the fine details about the transformation (p.22).
