The everywoman in Retail Ambassador Programme will host a nomination reception in London this week as it steps up its search for the industry’s most inspiring female role models.

The reception, set to take place on Thursday evening at Harvey Nicols’ Knightsbridge store, will see 80 leaders and supporters of women in the retail industry come together for an evening of networking and inspiring speeches.

Attendees will get the chance to meet some of the ambassadors that everywoman has recognised over the last decade, as well as nominating some new ones.

Now in its 10th year, the everywoman in Retail Ambassador Programme aims to raise awareness of the diverse range of opportunities for women in retail, by shining the spotlight on role models, inspiring more women to consider a career in retail.

Digital development is the hot prediction for 2017, with brands investing heavily to add value to customer experiences and increase the efficiency of operations within the business.

The programme also profiles those companies who place importance on recognising inspirational female role models and the vital role they play in motivating their colleagues.

The 2017 Ambassadors will be announced at an awards ceremony on September 12 in London.

It’s free to nominate and the deadline for applications is May 15. Click here for more details.
