Brand’s ‘distinctive look’ wins 10 accounts on IJL debut.

Fledgling jewellery brand I Love a Lassie has won 10 accounts following its trade show debut and official launch at IJL.

The Scottish company used the jewellery show to unveil its collections for the very first time to the wider UK industry and buyers. It secured retail stockists in locations across the UK, including Glasgow and St Ives, with many stores taking on all six of its collections.

I Love a Lassie is inspired by old keepsakes and found treasures such as fragments of lace, ancient cameos and rose branches.

The brand’s founder Lisa McMyn said: "The response we received more than justified our decision to take a stand at IJL.

"Our debut at IJL was our first step in introducing I Love a Lassie to the jewellery retailers, so we were delighted by their response. Buyers seemed to appreciate the distinctive look of our jewellery, and, while we are a new brand, took comfort knowing we have significant experience in the jewellery industry."

I Love a Lassie jewellery is designed by Edinburgh jeweller and the brand’s co-founder Arlene Katorza, who has been selling her hand-made designs from her jewellery boutiques in Edinburgh for more than 20 years.

The brand is set to exhibit its collections in at Scotland’s Trade Fair in Glasgow later this month.
