Jury unable to reach verdict over man accused of UKs largest robbery.
A man who has been charged with conspiracy to rob and of two counts of possessing firearms is facing a retrial after a jury was unable to reach a verdict.
The retrial of Craig Calderwood, 27, will take place on February 7, 2011, at Woolwich Crown Court.
Four men have already been convicted of the raid, which took place at Graff jewellers, Mayfair, in August last year.
Aman Kassaye, 25, has been described as the mastermind of the scheme, which involved the theft of £40 million of diamonds.
The haul has yet to be recovered and police continue to offer a £1 million reward for anyone with information that could lead to the recovery of the 43 stolen jewellery pieces.
