Designer’s pre-show effort proves its worth with new orders.

Jewellery designer Andrew Geoghegan returned to IJL this year having taken a couple of year’s break from trade shows, but says that it has paid dividends.

“In the run up to the event Team AG worked their diamond encrusted socks off knowing how important it was to return to the IJL in style in order to promote AG as a luxury brand,” he said.

“We geared up to make an impact on those visiting the exhibition, I knew I had to pull out all the stops to ensure stand that our stand was the one to visit.”

After being featured in the IJL Dailies and winning the Editor’s Award for Visual Impact at the show, Geoghegan says he felt quietly confident that IJL would be positive. “Having spent hours designing the stand and many, many more hours having infinity cabinets created, I was exhilarated to see how stunning the stand looked and was finally ready to welcome retailers to view the collection,” he said.

The designers has renewed links with longstanding retailers and secured partnerships with new ones, including Laings of Glasgow and Martin & Co of Cheltenham.

Co-incidentally, the blue topaz and white gold Satellite ring, which featured in the IJL Dailies both in the trends section and as one of the Dailies’ Showstoppers, along with being the prize winner for the Editors’ Award for Visual Impact, was Geoghegan’s bestseller at the show.
