Rox continues sponsorship of Clyde 1 Live event

Retailer says work with local media is helping to boost profile.

Rox is set to sponsor Radio Clive’s Clive 1 Live event for the second year running, as part of its continued work with local media.

The sponsorship will position Rox before 12,000 music fans and a number of acts playing at the Glasgow-based event on December 13, including pop groups The Saturdays and Union J, Rizzle Kicks and John Newman.

This is the second year that the retailer has sponsored Clive 1 Live. Rox managing director Kyron Keogh said: “We are delighted to support Clyde 1 Live again this year; it is a fantastic event and a great fit for Rox as we continue to build on our relationship with Bauer Media.

“The sponsorship worked well last year in reaffirming Rox’s position as the leading jeweller for gifts in the lead up to Christmas and we are confident that this year’s line-up combined with the excitement around the launch of the Hydro and the co-branded marketing push, will ensure this year’s event is even bigger and better.”

Rox recently teamed with Clyde 1 to host a secret gig with boy band The Wanted in the Thrill Room of its Edinburgh store, with the set later aired across Bauer Media’s Scottish radio stations.
