Flagship unit set to be one of Scotland’s largest jewellery stores.

Scottish jewellery brand Rox has announced that it will be investing £650,000 into its store in Glasgow’s Argyll Arcade.

ROX’s flagship unit will be extended from 800sq ft to almost 4,500 sq ft making it one of the largest jewellery stores in Scotland.

ROX acquired 2,500sq ft of additional property above its existing store in the Argyll Arcade in late autumn 2009, which it will now be transforming into a ‘thrill room’.

The space will attempt to offer customers a unique shopping experience, in addition to hosting fashion shows and private events. On the ground floor, the new ROX store will encompass its existing boutique and the unit next door, which was formerly occupied by sister company to ROX, Lewis Grant, which has moved to a new location in the Argyll Arcade.

Work on the refurbishment commenced on the September 20 and is being carried out by Glasgow based interior designer Graven Images – the company responsible for the refurbishment of The Blythswood Hotel in Glasgow city centre, which was recently named one of the ‘hottest’ hotels in the world by Conde Nast Traveller.

The expansion will be complete by the end of October. In the meantime, customers can shop online or at Rox’s Silverburn and Braehead boutiques.
