Mini chain becomes first jeweller to win Retailer of the Year award.
Jewellery and watch retailer Rox is celebrating becoming the first jeweller to take home the Scottish Retailer of the Year gong at the Scottish Fashion Awards.
Rox beat off stiff competition from clothing retailer Spoiled Brat, womenswear designer Bunmi Koko and coat company Mackintosh.
Judges said that Rox was singled out for the award because of its ability to provide quality product, elegance, premium designer brands and unrivalled customer service in a luxurious shopping environment. Rox’s exponential growth, innovation and commitment to closely following catwalk trends were also key contributing factors in the company’s win.
Rox owners Kyron Keogh and Grant Mitchell were presented with the award at a celeb-packed ceremony at the Glasgow Science Centre. Guests on the night included Samantha Cameron, Dame Shirley Bassey and Lulu.
Keogh said: “To win Retailer of the Year is truly incredible and we are absolutely thrilled. It’s an honour to be recognised at an event of this stature and it is fantastic exposure for our brand on a global scale.
“This is a huge achievement for our team and comes as a very welcome surprise on a night where we were delighted to even be nominated.”
In October Rox was named E-Tailer of the Year at the Scottish Retail Excellence Awards for its commitment to providing a superior shopping experience online for its customers after investing £50,000 in revamping its website.
