Sales uplift at Cornish jeweller brings new staff

Pewter and silver specialist St Justin reports sales increase of 10%.

Cornish jewellery manufacturer St Justin has appointed five new members of staff following a 10% sales uplift in the year to date.

The business, based in Penzance, specialises in Cornish tin jewellery, as well as items made in silver, pewter and bronze. It has now upped its staff number to 33, having created four new roles in its silver and pewter production and one in administrative support.

A spokesman told The Cornishman newspaper: "It’s been another incredibly successful year. All our products are hand-made at the factory and shipped worldwide, with nine agents across the UK and 12 distributors around the globe."

The business as established in 1984 and operates as a wholesale and retail business, with a store in Causewayhead, Penzance, which opened five years ago.
