Schoeffel celebrates colourful 90th anniversary

Luxury pearl brand celebrates with two new collections.

German pearl company Schoeffel has unveiled new luxury designs at Inhorgenta in celebration of its 90th anniversary.

Unveiled at the Munich trade show, which took place last weekend, the new Rainbow pearl necklace and Happy Day rings combine contrasting colours with exquisite details, and have been designed to show of the magic and luxury of pearls.

Celebrating its 90th anniversary, the company has chosen to create a colourful collection that’s both luxurious and wearable, taking inspiration from the red carpets of Hollywood and paintings by Impressionist artists. The Rainbow necklace is described as a "kaleidescope of emotions", and is made from hand picked South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater pearls. It secured with a diamond-set yellow gold clasp and retails for approximately £20,000.

The Happy Day rings are a more modern take on pearl jewellery, with a grey Tahitian pearl set into on-trend rose gold and offset by blue diamonds, for "a hint of the exotic." A second ring from the collection takes a more classic approach, with a large white pearl set in white gold and contrasted by black diamonds.

Schoeffel saw a busy stand at Inhorgenta, with endless eye-catching strings of pearls on display. The company is renowned for its high-end pearl jewellery and although stocked at around 30 independent retailers in the UK.
